Job Title: Technician 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated technician to join our team at our General Repair Shop. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles brought to our shop. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including engine problems, transmission malfunctions, and brake failures.

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns.

- Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems.

- Complete repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

- Keep a clean and organized work area, adhering to shop safety standards and protocols at all times.

- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and provide accurate cost estimates.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through continuous training and professional development.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive repair is a plus.

- Proven experience as an automotive technician or relevant role.

- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.

- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.

- Solid understanding of repair and maintenance techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong attention to detail and precision.

- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation:

Range: $50,000 to $80,000 Annually.
