- DUPLICATED COMPLAINT VEHICLE STUCK IN 4WD WARNING LIGHT ON DASH SERVICE 4WD -TESTED TRAC FUSE IN UNDERHOOD FUSE BOX -TESTED POWER INTO T-CASE LOCK MOTOR IT IS PRESENT -TESTED RETURN POWER TO TCCM FOUND NO RETURN POWER -INSPECTED WIRING HARNESS FOR BRAKES SHORTS TO POWER OR GROUND -UNDER INSPECTION OF HARNESS FOUND WIRE THAT HAD BEEN DAMAGED AND CORRODED ALL THE WAY THROUGH -THIS BROKE WIRE IS ON THE ENCODER SIDE OF HARNESS WILL NEED TO REPLACE ENCODER MOTOR AND REPLACE
- COMPLETE VEHICLE INSPECTION
- replaced encoder motor cleared codes tested and t-case now shifts into all modes
- duplicated complaint all rear signals run in to left rear light housing and no running lights at all -tested all fuses all are good -tested powers to fuses found there to be no power to running light fuses tested relay its good tested powers and grounds to relay found there to be powers and grounds -removed tipm tested back side of tipm and applied powers to running light circuit found that left running light works and right runs into left brake light -do to these test will need to start with tipm and then find where there is the failure in wiring to tail lights -we have diaged the tipm failure in 2023 did not replace -after testing found there is a tipm issue and a wiring issue will need to address both issues to fix complaint
- REPLACED TIPM
- CHECKED POWERS AND GROUNDS . WHEN APPLYING BRAKE FRONT RIGHT TURN SIGNAL COMES ON . TEST WIRING FOUND REAR BULBS IN REAR TAILLIGHT ASSY NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY. INSTALLED BULBS PROPERLY . TURN SIGNALS AND BRAKE LIGHT OPERATING NORMALLY
